Course SummaryAs a Content Creator apprentice you will be responsible for developing and creating content that can be used across a variety of media including digital, social media, broadcast or in print. In your apprenticeship placement you will respond to customer/client briefs, perform research, prepare and develop the media messaging and produce both audio and visual content to maximise audience engagement. You will develop the skills and understanding of capturing the strategy and objectives of a brand and needs of the client or employer you are representing. The content you create can be used as part of media, advertising and marketing campaigns. In their daily work, an employee in this occupation interacts with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders throughout the end-to-end content creation process. Typically, they are likely to interact with clients, marketing and digital teams, production teams, budget holders, contributors, artists and end users. A Content Creator would need to take into account ethical considerations and wider organisational policies. A Content Creator would typically report to a senior colleague within their functional area. They are required to keep up-to-date with new technologies, platform developments and consumer trends. These are not mandatory however they are encouraged as field trips can be a great way to give you an interesting insight into the industry. Learning and Teaching MethodsThe Content Creator apprenticeship offers one face-to-face teaching days per week. A blend of teaching methods including lectures, tutorials, practical exercises and group discussions are employed to ensure a well-rounded learning experience. This format fosters real-time engagement, allows direct feedback and caters to various learning styles, equipping apprentices with essential skills for a career in content creation. This is done in the final part of the apprenticeship and is how your knowledge and skills are assessed.
