Learning and Teaching Methods The mandatory, 12-credit unit is Customer support provision for the ICT professional. Then you choose five, 12-credit units from topics including: Networking Principles Implementing an ICT systems security policy Software Design fundamentals Creating an event driven computer program using Visual Basic Web Development Teaching and learning differs for each module, with practical units culminating in a product creation assignment. Initially, we will support you by way of demonstrations and walkthroughs; as you progress through the course, we will encourage you to be work on your own initiative and in groups. Teaching is delivered by subject specialists, who draw from a vast amount of industry experience to support you in developing the skills needed in your future career. You will also have access to cutting-edge facilities and resources throughout your course. Total contact time is 12 hours per week normally over 2 days.
