Course Summary Suitable for all beginners and non-beginners in watercolours, and those that are willing to start again, or continue to learn new techniques and methods. The classes are very structured and prescriptive to begin with, progressing throughout the academic year to subjects that interest the students. During the course you will learn how to complete some of the following tasks to meet all students’ needs: Learning how to stretch paper How to paint wet-in-wet washes Getting used to paint names and brushes Successful colour mixing Various painting techniques - Wet-in-wet, wet-on-dry, dry-brush Blue skies with and without clouds Sunsets with student’s choice of silhouette Simple landscapes Seasonal painting, e.g. autumn leaves, snow, poppies Negative painting How to use masking fluid Entry Requirements Learners must be 19 or over.
