If you are at least 19 years old and have already completed a relevant level 2 qualification, this one-year evening course is ideal for continuing your journey to a rewarding career.

This Level 3 Vehicle Body Repair and Paint course is designed to help you further develop your learning to industry standards. It focuses on the meticulous preparation of a range of different surfaces and materials and the application of topcoats to extremely high standards.

Entry Requirements

•    You must be aged at least 19 before the course starts in September
•    You must have successfully completed a relevant level 2 qualification, or have at least one year’s industry experience
•    You must be able to attend one evening a week

Teaching and Learning Methods

You will be taught by tutors who have a wealth of industry experience and a passion for passing on their skills and experiences. Your tutors will get to know how you learn best and tailor their teaching methods to your needs.

This course is mainly practical, but you will spend time developing additional knowledge in a classroom environment in preparation for the qualification knowledge assessments.

You would typically spend 3 weeks in the workshop (3 hours a week), followed by a knowledge building session in class (3 hours). You would also be expected to continue your studies away from College (maximum 2 hours a week).

You can be assured that the environment is supportive and includes regular target setting and reviews.
