Course Overview

Gain IMI accreditation or re-accreditation as a Senior Panel Technician with this four-day course. If you are a technician responsible for the body repair of accident-damaged vehicles, this course provides IMI industry accreditation to help you to progress your career. Featuring practical assessment of all aspects of body panel repair, from cosmetic panel alignment to aluminium cosmetic panel, the course also includes a full day’s training on the Car-oliner quick 42 jig system. By the end of the four days, you will have an IMI qualification (including the AOM030 Welded panel section MAG/MIG/Braze/Bond/Rivet) that entitles you to work to BSI standards.

Entry Requirements

You must have gained at least three years' experience in the accident repair industry. You should also hold a current AOM009 Welding Certificate.

This four-day course includes 1 day of training and 3 days' practical assessment in our superbly equipped vehicle body workshop. There is no taught theory - all the work undertaken is practical.
