English - GCSE (Fast Track)
Course Code: GK1FE2105
Gain your GCSE English in just six months with this January-June fast track course.
Drawing upon a range of creative and real-life texts, the course provides opportunities to develop higher reading and critical thinking skills that encourage genuine enquiry into different topics and themes.
This will ensure you develop the ability to read fluently and write effectively.
The course aims to provide you with a confident control of Standard English, equipping you to write grammatically correct sentences, use descriptive language and analyse texts.
You can then progress either to employment or to full-time study in the September.
We can offer you a place on this course if you have GCSE English grade D or 3 or Functional Skills English at Level 2.
If you don’t have the above grades, you can take an initial assessment instead, for which you will need to achieve 70%.
