Gain your GCSE Maths in just six months with this January-June fast track course.
The course covers topics such as number, statistics, geometry and measure, algebra, probability and rates of change, and will develop your knowledge, skills and understanding of key mathematical concepts.
You will use your knowledge to make connections between these concepts, utilise mathematical reasoning and learn how to apply the fundamentals of mathematics to solve problems in real-life situations.
Our specialist tutors will support you throughout the course, after which you can progress either to employment or to full-time study in the September.
We can offer you a place on this course if you have GCSE Maths grade D or 3 at GCSE or Functional Skills Maths at Level 2.
If you don’t have the above grades, you can take an initial assessment instead, for which you will need to achieve 70%.
Teaching and Learning Methods
The course is delivered over 18 weeks.
During the course, you will have the opportunity to access online learning, which is supported by excellent interactive resources.
Face-to-face teaching time is three hours a week, with additional independent study in-between sessions.
The focus is on improving your skills in number, algebra, geometry, statistics and rates of change through a range of teaching methods, including independent study, group work and problem solving.

The approval process ensures that staff delivering a given programme are appropriately qualified and, where appropriate, possess relevant technical and industrial experience and professional practice.
