Course Overview

Do you want to continue to live, work or study in the U.K? If yes, then you may need to take one of the new IELTS VI (Visa and Immigration) tests as follows:

A1 / A2 test

To prove your English speaking and listening skills as part of your application to UK Visas and Immigration for ‘Family of a Settled Person’ visa (A1) or extension to Family, Spouse or Partner visa (A2).

B1 test

To prove your English speaking and listening skills as part of your application to UK Visas and Immigration for indefinite leave to remain or citizenship.

The Preparation Course for IELTS for Visa and Immigration (including preparation for A1 / A2 or B1) at Blackpool and the Fylde College aims to help you practise and prepare for one of the above speaking and listening tests in line with government guidance.

Blackpool and the Fylde College has a team of well-qualified and knowledgeable ESOL tutors who will deliver the courses. Our ESOL staff have many years of experience in successfully delivering English language courses, in line with government requirements, for those learners wishing to apply for visas / naturalisation.

This a preparation course. We can assist you in booking the final test (not included in this course), which would take place at an official IELTS testing centre.
