Course Overview

This qualification is designed for students who want to improve their knowledge and skills of data analysis. It will support students in a number of sectors and job roles where an understanding of data analysis is required.

This qualification will:

  • focus on the study of data analysis
  • offer breadth and depth of study, in Excel , Power BI and SQL
  • provide opportunities to acquire a number of practical, analytical and technical skills.

Entry Requirements

There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification. However, students may find it helpful if they have a basic understanding of mathematics and some experience of Microsoft office packages.

Students are initially supported by demonstrations and walkthroughs and later by a workshop/individual focus intended to foster creativity. The delivery will be 50% online and 50% onsite in the classroom.
