Course Overview

This qualification NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding the Safe Handling of Medication in Health and Social Care is assessed through the completion of individual workbooks.

The course runs over 4 weeks (3 hourly sessions).

This knowledge only qualification is designed for learners wishing to develop their understanding of the safe handling of medication.

    Entry Requirements

    No previous training or experience is required for this programme but you must be at least 19.

    You will attend college for a 3 hour session weekly for 4 weeks.

    Within these sessions there will be tutor delivery, question and answer, discussion, group work tasks and individual tasks.

    It is expected that you will complete a minimum of 3 hours independent study, each week, outside of the class to complete your workbooks.
