Develop specialist knowledge and understanding of end-of-life care with this Level 2 Awareness of End-of-Life Care programme. You will develop an understanding of the different perspectives towards death and dying, and the impact this has on different individuals. The qualification is ideally suited to qualified health and social care professionals who want to develop specialist knowledge in this area, either for enhanced employment opportunities or with a view to additional study. Typical candidates would include workers in hospices, care homes, care in the community and primary care. For those not directly involved in end-of-life care, the qualification would still count towards their continuous professional development (CPD).
No previous training or experience is required for this programme but you must be at least 19.
The qualification is ideally suited to qualified health and social care professionals who want to develop specialist knowledge in this area.
Teaching and Learning Methods
You will attend College for one full day. Thereafter you will be able to access additional tutor support online to help in completing your workbook.
