Mental Health Awareness - Level 2 (Evening)

This qualification (NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Mental Health Awareness) is designed for any learner that wants to raise their awareness of mental health and the problems that can cause mental ill health.
This qualification would suit a range of learners who are in a wide range of job roles.
On completion of this qualification there is potential for the learner to progress onto the Level 3 Certificate in Understanding Mental Health along with other relevant Level 2 and 3 qualifications.
The learner will attend college for a 3 hour session, weekly (term-time only) for 12 weeks.
This is a knowledge-only qualification therefore there are no work placements and no field trips on this programme.
No previous training or experience is required for this programme but you must be at least 19.
Teaching and Learning Methods
You will attend college for a 3 hour session, weekly (term-time only) for 12 weeks.
Within these sessions there will be tutor delivery, question and answer, discussion, observation, group work tasks and individual tasks.
It is expected that you will complete a minimum of 3 hours independent study, each week, outside of the class to complete your assignments.

The approval process ensures that staff delivering a given programme are appropriately qualified and, where appropriate, possess relevant technical and industrial experience and professional practice.
