The Award in Education and Training is an ideal short course for anyone interested in training in the workplace and within a learning and development sector organisation.

This course is a great introduction to the theoretical skills and practical knowledge required to enable you to plan and deliver education and training.

This is a 12 week programme delivered in the evening over 3 hours per week.  

 

 

Entry Requirements

This course is available to students aged 19 years and over.

Ideally you should have a full level 3 qualification in the subject that you wish to teach in.

The Programme Leader will review your prior qualifications and/or experience to ensure you have the potential to achieve the qualification.

A level 2 qualification in English and mathematics and an intermediate level of ICT is recommended.

Delivery is by presentations, workshops, student participation and observations.

The course is 3 hours a week over 12 weeks, delivered in the evening. You will also be expected to do independent study of a minimum of 2 hours a week.
