Gain BIIAB accreditation at level 3 in the area of food safety supervision. If you are a supervisor, manager or chef with responsibility for food safety within a commercial catering setting, this course is for you. The course also supports progression to a supervisory role. Delivered over three days with an additional half day at the end for an exam, the course develops the knowledge and skills needed to carry out your role more effectively in line with approved working practices. Specifically, you will learn about food safety legislation, maintaining good hygiene practice, implementing food safety management procedures and undertaking staff training.
Ideally you will have completed the level 2 course however this isn't essential.
Teaching and Learning Methods
This 3.5 day course is workroom based and delivered via presentations, group and pair work, and discussion.
On the final half day you will undertake a written exam.
