Print Club - Screen Printing
Course Code: VE2EC33
This course is suitable for anyone wanting to learn screenprinting or to extend their existing skills. It introduces you to the creative potential of printmaking, enabling you to produce your own designs from hand-drawn and hand-painted images to photographic images in preparation for printing. You will learn how to create designs for limited edition original prints and to create mono-prints (one-off images that cannot be repeated), how to mix inks to create opaque and semi-transparent colours, and correct registration to layer images.
The course is also suitable for those with some printmaking experience or those who have attended a previous course, who would like to use the facilities to work on personal projects with tutor support and guidance. You will be able to work in screenprint, intaglio or relief.
No prior qualifications are necessary for this short course.
