What will I learn? Key information Where could this course take me? Course Summary Business administrators have a highly transferable set of knowledge, skills and behaviours that can be applied in all sectors. This includes small and large businesses alike; from the public sector, private sector and charitable sector. The role may involve working independently or as part of a team and will involve developing, implementing, maintaining and improving administrative services. Business administrators develop key skills and behaviours to support their own progression towards management responsibilities Entry Requirements The entry requirement for this apprenticeship will be decided by each employer, but may typically be five GCSEs at Grade C or higher. Learning and Teaching Methods The course is delivered solely in the workplace, teaching will be delivered via online resources, through 1:1 delivery with your skills coach and training from your employer. This apprenticeship will identify and improve your skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to become a Business Administrator. These include; • IT • Record and document production • Project management • Decision making • Communication • Stakeholders • Relevant Regulation Industry Placement and Field Trips The Apprentice must be if full time employment, with a contract of employment. The employer must be in agreement to allow the Skills Coach and Specialist Practitioner access to the learner. Expert Tutors All staff involved in the delivery of adult education courses within the College are approved to teach the subjects and modules they deliver. The approval process ensures that staff delivering a given programme are appropriately qualified and, where appropriate, possess relevant technical and industrial experience and professional practice.
