How to Apply- Apprenticeships

School leaver?

·  Select your chosen apprenticeship and click on Apply.

·  Attend an apprenticeship event to find out more – we’ll send you an invitation once we’ve processed your form.

·  Get work ready as our team invite you in to help you prepare your CV, develop interview skills and register to get matched to your ideal vacancy. 

·  Complete assessments in English, maths and ICT either online or here at B&FC.

·  As soon as an apprenticeship becomes available, we’ll let you know.

 

Aged 16+ and in employment?

·  Select your chosen apprenticeship and click on Apply.

·  Complete online assessments in English, maths and ICT – we’ll email you the link once we’ve processed your form.

·  We’ll meet with your employer to complete the relevant paperwork.  

·  Attend an ‘onboarding’ session as we invite you in to meet your Skills Coach and take a look around.

·  We’ll meet your employer again to finalise everything and you can then start your apprenticeship straight away. 

 

Aged 16+ and not in employment?

·  Select your chosen apprenticeship and click on Apply.

·  Decide your next step – we’ll get in touch with you to chat about your options.

·  Complete online assessments in English, maths and ICT – we’ll email you the link once we’ve processed your form.

·  Register with GetMyFirstJob – we’ll tell you how – and send us your CV. If you want, we can help you to put this together. 

·  We’ll invite you in to help match you to your ideal vacancy and put you forward for those that are suitable. As soon as a place becomes available, we’ll let you know.
