Skills Support for the Workforce

In the digital, engineering or visitor economy sectors and want to increase productivity, save money, and improve staff retention?

Skills Support for the Workforce (SSW) is here to help.

Funded by the European Social Fund, SSW provides fully-funded workplace training to address skills gaps identified as a priority by Lancashire's Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP).

The programme will offer locally tailored solutions and flexible delivery to meet the skills and apprenticeship priorities of employers and employees in the Lancashire Area.

As one of the SSW delivery partners in Lancashire, B&FC will work with your business to build personalised learning plans and provide accredited or non-accredited training to motivate and empower your employees to take the next step in their career - within your organisation.

Training available through B&FC as part of the SSW scheme includes bespoke and vocationally relevant qualifications including L1, L2 and units at L3.

B&FC also offers skills support for those at risk of redundancy and those recently made redundant (within 3 months).
