How will I be assessed? Key information Where could this course take me? Course Overview: A one day course aimed specifically at those who are about to take the AM2 Assessment. This one day course gives you all the information, hints and tips that you will need for the AM2, including; the installation, test and inspection, fault finding and the online exam. Entry Requirements: This course prepares you to take the AM2 test. To enrol, you must have completed the Level 3 Electrical Installation Course and be working in the industry. Other Costs and Equipment Needed: We recommend you bring paper and pens so you can make notes. All other equipment is provided by B&FC at no extra cost. Assessment Methods: There are six parts to the AM2 test, which this course will take you through, step by step. You will cover the following key areas: Conducting a Risk Assessment Full Installation Test and Inspection Fault Finding and Safe Isolation Online Exam This is a preparation course, so there are no assessments. However we will provide you with information about the assessments used for the AM2 test. Regulation and Accreditation: Accrediting Institution: N/A Awarding Body: NONE Teaching and Learning Methods: This is an intensive one-day course, delivered in a teaching room by the course tutor. Industry Placement and Field Trips: There are no work placements and no field trips on this course.
