Build your skills and fast track into a new job!

Are you aged 19 or over? If you’re in part-time work, self-employed, recently unemployed or returning to work after a break then this Skills Bootcamp could be for you. You can boost your skills and fast track into a new job or get ahead with your current employer.

As part of the Government’s Plan for Jobs, B&FC is running free 12-week Bootcamps designed to equip you with the expertise employers need to fill the nation’s skills gap in the digital market.

Complete the course and you will be guaranteed an interview with a local employer. Investing your time in this course will help you to develop skills that appeal to a range of employers and offer a variety of options. Digital marketing skills are becoming increasingly essential across many different jobs and sectors. With salaries for digital roles tending to be 36% higher than average, this is a great opportunity to drive your career in the digital industry.

You’ll immerse yourself into the digital marketing industry and explore theoretical and strategic approaches to digital marketing. The course provides practical activities and insights into the main digital channels including SEO, social media, web analytics, email marketing and website development.

Entry Requirements

Eligible to work in the UK

  • Resident in the North West of England
  • Aged 19 or above
  • Able to commit to 12 weeks’ training from the beginning of September 2021 (minimum 20 hours per week)
  • Committed to starting a career in the digital industry
  • No formal entry requirements are required but a basic understanding of technology would be advantageous.

Teaching and Learning Methods

We use various teaching methods that are designed to engage all learners, but typically include lectures, tutorials and seminars. Your course will begin with you attending college for an induction session to meet the curriculum team. The course will then be delivered over 12 weeks with 22 hours per week contact time.
Facilities and resources are regularly updated to improve your experiences college and to match the needs of the course.
