There are no entry requirements for this pathway in addition to the general framework entry requirements. However, it is likely that advanced apprentices will have some prior experience in Engineering or a Level 2 course to allow them to complete the advanced apprenticeship, although this is not a formal requirement.
Teaching and Learning Methods
Learners may expect to participate in a wide variety of teaching and learning activities including; workshop-based projects, presentations, lectures and discussion groups.

All staff involved in the delivery of apprenticeships within the College are approved to train and support the students in the subjects and modules they deliver. The approval process ensures that staff delivering a given programme are appropriately qualified, with relevant technical and industrial experience and professional practice.
