Student Support and Wellbeing

At B&FC, we offer a comprehensive range of support services aimed at helping you reach your full potential. These are available to all students and include everything from careers advice to specialist support to address individual learning needs.

Our experienced advisers do everything they can to make sure you succeed.

Throughout your time here, they will support you to achieve your learning goals and develop the all-round skills needed to prepare for further study and employment.

What is the Local Offer?

It is a requirement of every local authority to publish information about their services for young people up to the age of 25 who have Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND), and also about services outside this area which they anticipate young people may need access to.

This is collectively known as the Local Offer.

The Local Offer is a way of letting families know what services are available locally and how they can access them. The Local Offer pulls together all the information about education, health, care, training, employment, independent living, leisure activities and support.
